Pacific freshman
Jamysen Yates was a perfect 5-for-5 from the 3-point arc on her way to a career-high 17 points and five rebounds.
But the standout performance wasn't enough to keep up with visiting Linfield as the Boxers fell 91-64 Sunday afternoon in the Northwest Conference opener for both teams.
Senior
Lindsay Barden was the only other Boxer to score in double digits, finishing with 11 points and four assists.
Pacific never led in the game as Linfield jumped out to an 8-2 advantage. The Wildcats extended their lead to 15 points by halftime, 41-26, and led by as many as 28 points in the second half.
The 91 points are the most Linfield has scored in a NWC game since 2019 and the most Pacific has allowed since 2013.
