NEWBERG, Ore. -- Pacific junior
Ava Cook finished one rebound shy of her first career double-double. But the Boxers fell behind early and could not recover in a 77-64 Northwest Conference loss Tuesday night at George Fox.
Pacific never led in the game as George Fox jumped out to a 10-2 advantage and led 21-12 at the end of the first period. The Bruins then stretched their lead to 15 points, 40-25, at halftime.
Pacific senior
Emily Holsan finished with 19 points to lead all scorers to go along with four rebounds and three steals. Cook had 11 points and nine rebounds.
Playing just 19 minutes due to foul trouble, junior
Shaade Williams had 11 points.Â
