The Pacific women's basketball team knocked down a season-high 11 3-pointers Saturday night.
But the hot shooting wasn't enough to get the win over visiting Puget Sound as the Boxers fell 68-61 inside the Stoller Center.
Pacific got off to a slow start, making just one field goal in the first four minutes and falling behind 10-2. But the Boxers rallied to get within 14-12 at the end of the first period.

Shaade Williams, who led all scorers with 20 points, then gave the Boxers their first lead, 17-16, on a 3-pointer with 8:35 remaining in the second quarter.
After an
Emily Holsan 3-pointer put Pacific ahead by six points, 22-16, with 7:31 to go, Puget Sound outscored the Boxers 14-3 and went into halftime up 34-28.
Trailing 39-31, Pacific went on a 9-0 run to again take the lead, 40-39, with 6 minutes to go in the third period.
Another Holsan 3-pointer put the Boxers on top 61-60 with 3:45 remaining in the game. But the Loggers closed the contest on an 8-0 run to squeak out the victory.
Holsan finished with 10 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals.
Lindsay Barden added 13 points.
As a team, Pacific shot 11-for-28 from 3.
