TACOMA, Wash. – Jumping out to a double-digit lead at the end of the first quarter, the Pacific women's basketball team rolled to a 66-54 win Friday night at Pacific Lutheran.
The Boxers, who never trailed in the game, opened up a 41-18 lead at halftime.
After Pacific expanded its lead to 28 points midway through the third period, the Lutes closed the game on a 14-0 run in the final 6 minutes.
Senior
Shaade Williams led the Boxers with 12 points, four rebounds and four assists. Senior
Lindsay Barden had 11 points and four rebounds. Sophomore
Sydney Esperanza finished with 10 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Junior
Brookelynn Burke added 10 points and six rebounds off the bench.
With the win, the Boxers improved to 8-6 overall and 3-2 in the Northwest Conference. Pacific is 9-1 in its last 10 games against Pacific Lutheran.
