Ellena Willingham, the Pacific women's lacrosse team opened the 2026 season with a 16-11 win at Eastern Oregon.

The Boxers never trailed in the contest as freshmen
Erin Casey and
Hannah Williams scored the first goals of their college careers to put Pacific up 2-0 with 7:51 remaining in the first period.Â

India Cartwright then scored her first goal as a Boxer, on an assist from Casey, to give Pacific a 3-1 advantage. Willingham's first goal of the game put the Boxers on top 4-1 at the end of the first quarter.

Pacific extended its lead to 9-4 at halftime, thanks to second period goals by Willingham, Cartwright,
Sarah Quade and
Cameron Cabuco.Â

Cartwright finished with three goals and an assist. Cabuco and Casey each scored two goals in the non-conference victory over NAIA Eastern Oregon.
