FOREST GROVE, Ore. — The Pacific men won three events, including a pair of wins by senior
Raymond Miller, as the Boxers fell 128-57 to Pacific Lutheran at the Forest Grove Aquatic Center.
Pacific opened the meet by winning the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:48.05, over a second ahead of the Pacific Lutheran relay. The Boxers relay was comprised of: junior
Aukai Kea (Mililani, Hawaii), senior
Derek Dunn (Springfield, Ore.), senior
Michael Sakai (Honolulu, Hawaii) and freshman
Reed Charron (Fort Collins, Colo.).
Miller (Portland, Ore.) carried the Boxers winning streak into the 200-yard freestyle, finishing four seconds ahead of the next competitor with a time of 1:47.38.
The 50-yard freestyle saw Dunn finish third at 23.30, while Sakai finished third in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:08.13.
Miller returned to the pool in the 200-yard butterfly, winning by roughly four minutes with a time of 1:58.85.
Dunn followed Miller's performance in the 200-butterfly with a second place finish in the 100-yard freestyle, at a time of 51.70.
Kea finished second in the 200-yard backstroke touching the wall at 2:07.93.
Pacific will return to the Forest Grove Aquatic Center on Saturday with an 11 a.m. scheduled start against Puget Sound.
