FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- Pacific finished its swimming season at the Northwest Conference Championships Sunday night. Both teams finished ninth scoring 128.5 points for the women, and 94 for the men.
 
The women were led by junior Alex Moehnke who grabbed 19.5 points in individual events with a highest finish of seventh in the 100-yard backstroke.

Anne Marie Grieder-Jacobs added 11 points with a 10th place finish in the 200-yard backstroke. Allison Simon added three points in the 200-yard freestyle. The Boxers also got one point from Madelyn Russell in the 400-yard individual medley. All remaining points came from relay events with a best finish of eighth in the 200-yard medley relay.
 
On the men's side all points scored came from relay events with a top finish of eighth in the 200-yard freestyle relay. Senior Vinh Pham was the best finisher in any event, placing 25th in the 200-yard breaststroke. Next year's team will be made up of entirely underclassmen looking to write a new chapter in Boxers swimming.
