Moehnke, Ferruzzi, Sappington lead Boxers at NWC Swimming Championships

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- Three Pacific swimmers stood on the podium at the Northwest Conference Swimming Championship on Feb. 13-16 at the King County Aquatics Center.

Senior Alex Moehnke placed sixth in three events -- the women's 50 freestyle (24.61 seconds), 100 backstroke (59.89) and 200 back (2:13.04).

Sophomore Serafina Ferruzzi finished sixth in the women's 100 breaststroke in 1:08.55.

Freshman Jack Sappington took eighth in the men's 100 breast in 1:00.07.

The Boxers finished ninth in both the women's and men's team standings. 

Whitworth won both the women's and men's championships.
