The Pacific University men's and women's swimming team hosted the University of Puget Sound at the Forest Grove Aquatic Center in a dual meet on Friday night.
As the Boxers enter its third week of the 2018-19 season, Pacific had 19 season-best performances including three that were set by
Lauren McWilliams in the 100 and 500 freestyle and 200 IM. Boxers'
Ethan Hunter,
Hung Huynh,
Aukai Kea,
Cecilia Mazhary Clark each established a pair of season-best performances.
Huynh was the first to touch the wall in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:02.02. Another winner on the night for the Boxers was
Maya Okamura, who won the 200-yard breaststroke, finishing in 2:39.33.
Kea took second in the 50-yard freestyle in a season-best time of 22.64 and Okamura was the runner-up in the 200-yard IM with a season-best time of 2:25.29.
Brandow and Crumb were second and third in the 200-yard butterfly, establish season-best times of 2:23.78 and 2:29.25 to lead the Boxers.
Next, Pacific will travel to Portland to face Lewis & Clark on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Zehntbauer Swimming Pavilion.
