Pacific Loses to Linfield, 18-8

Box Score Roya Tahmassebi scored four goals and Rebecca Jimenez-Aleman had the first multi-goal game of her young career as the Pacific lacrosse team lost to Linfield, 18-8 on Sunday in McMinnville.

The effort for Tahmassebi is the fifth multi-goal game of her career and second on the season as the Boxers fall to 0-9 overall and 0-6 in the Northwest Conference.

The Wildcats were led by the four-goal efforts from Alex Jensen and Nathaly Sanchez, who improve to 6-5 overall and 4-2 in the Northwest Conference. Jensen also had two assists in the win.

Pacific rallied from an early deficit until Tahmassebi scored back-to-back goals to cut the deficit to one, 3-2 early into the first half. Another stretch of three-straight goals by the host Wildcats stretched the lead to 6-2 until Jimenez-Aleman found the back of the net.
