Boxers win 3 events, Huynh and Kea Continue Weekend Success

Aukai Kea won the 50-yard freestyle for the second time in as many days, while Hung Huynh took first in two events in Tacoma.
 
With only one more meet remaining before the Northwest Conference Championships, Pacific swim teams looked to continue a successful weekend in Tacoma.
 
On the men's side Huynh would take first in both the 200-yard IM event with a time of (2:05.48) and the 100-yard backstroke (58.65).
 
Kea also added another top three finish for the men in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 51.39.
 
For the women's team, Maya Okamura kept up after her success in the pool yesterday, finishing second in two events, the 200-yard IM and the 100-yard butterfly.
 
Okamura just edged out fellow Boxer Julia Crumb in the 100-yard butterfly, giving the Boxers two of the top three spots in the event.
 
Hannah Brandow added another top three finish for the Boxer women in the pool, coming in second in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:03.63.

Boxers are back in the pool January 26 at 1:00 P.M. at George Fox University.
