The Pacific University men's and women's swimming teams traveled to Tacoma to take on the University of Puget Sound on Friday night.
Sophomore
Hung Huynh won a pair of events including the 100-yard butterfly (55.55), edging out his Loggers' opponent by one-hundredth of a second and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:03.62).
Plus, the Boxers came away with wins on the men's side in the 200-yard freestyle by
Josh Joireman (1:49.94). On the women's side,
Julie Abrigonde won the 100-yard backstroke (1:01.76) and teammate
Hannah Brandow was third (1:04.32). Abrigonde was second in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:12.44).
Next, Pacific will host Lewis & Clark on Saturday at the Forest Grove Aquatic Center at 11 a.m.
