Alexa Erickson each scored a goal as the Pacific University women's lacrosse team lost to Linfield, 21-2 on Tuesday in McMinnville.
The Boxers (2-6, 1-5 NWC) utilized Rachel Ariza at goalkeeper in place of
Madyson Ivey in the loss. Ariza rose to the occasion, making 16 saves in her debut as the Boxers' goalkeeper.
The Wildcats (6-4, 5-1 NWC)were led by a trio of players – Nathaly Sanchez, Maia Rezoski and Molly Herrera – who each had four goals to lead host Linfield.
Next, Pacific will host Whitworth on Friday night on Ledbetter Field at Hanson Stadium. Earlier this year, the Boxers defeated the Pirates by a 13-5 margin in Spokane.
