The Pacific University men's and women's track and field team saw 15 members named to the United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association All-West Region Team on Monday.
The women's distance medley relay team of
Elizabeth Bradley,
Eliza Irish,
Kristin Pilgrim and
Kara Putman along with
Hannah Berdahl in the mile,
Emily DeYoung in the shot put,
Brooke France in the weight throw,
Sophia Henke in the high jump,
Jenna Hoiland in the triple jump and
Kara Putman in the mile earned honors.
The men's distance medley relay team of
Grant Brobeck,
Nick Slenning,
Garrett Stewart and
Riley Stewart along with
Andrew Reid in the shot put and weight throw to go along with
Kolby Nikolaisen in the pole vault,
Garrett Stewart in the 800m run and
Riley Stewart in the mile also secured recognition.
To earn All-Region honors, an athlete must be one of the top-5 individuals in their event in their respective region. In addition, each member of a region's top-3 relay team was selected for the distinction.
