An elated coach
Beth Whittle had this to say following the final meet of the season today, "What a great day for our Boxer swimmers! Today we celebrated our seniors,
Joelle Otterstedt and
Avery Beckius, in their final collegiate meet. The cheering was non-stop and the energy on deck was palpable. Despite a fragmented swimming season due to Covid-19 challenges, the team swam really amazing today and impressed the coaches with nearly all season best times. In addition, four swimmers swam to personal bests!  Our men's team won a very close meet, with the team rallying and cheering through the last relay. A home meet and win for our men's team made for a fun day. I am incredibly proud of the way our team came together to take full advantage of the opportunity to train, race and compete this year. This season our men and women demonstrated their resiliency, tenaciousness, love for their team, and commitment to their sport. I am already looking forward to the 2021-2022 season."
