SPOKANE, Wash.- The Pacific University men's and women's swimming teams made the trip to Northeast Washington on Friday evening to take on Whitworth. The women's team dropped their contest 57-132 and the Boxer men fell 27-134.

Highlight Performances
Women
Kristine Dillon (Freshman/Irvine, CA) finished third in the 1,000 yard freestyle with a time of 15:02.44.
Julia Crumb (Senior/North Bend, WA) posted a second-place time of 2:11.55 in the 200-yard freestyle.
In the 50-yard freestyle,
Alex Moehnke (Sophomore/Banks, OR) came out victorious with her outstanding time of 25.27. She followed that up with another fantastic performance, this time in the 100-yard freestyle, posting a time of 55.62.
Hannah Brandow (Senior/Eugene, OR) impressed in the 200-yard backstroke as she touched the wall at 2:18.17, good enough for second place in the event.
Allison Simon (Sophomore/Chula Vista, CA) took third place in the 200-yard breaststroke when she clocked in at 2:52.18
Men
Josh Joireman (Junior/Pullman, WA) finished second in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:50.48.
Vinh Pham (Sophomore/Beaverton, OR) swam to second place in the 50-yard freestyle, posting a time of 27.32.
In the 200-yard butterfly,
Hung Huynh (Senior/Billings, MT) clocked in at 2:05.90 to grab second place.

Pacific is back in the pool tomorrow at 10 a.m. when they head to Walla Walla, Wash. to take on Whitman.
