FOREST GROVE, Ore.- The Pacific University returned to Northwest Conference action on Wednesday evening and suffered a 15-1 defeat to Willamette.
Second-place Willamette matched conference leaders George Fox in the win column after improving to 4-1 in NWC play.
Lily Bachiochi led the way with six goals on the night.
Pacific (2-7, 0-5 NWC) are still searching for their first conference victory after tonight's loss as they were unable to find rhythm on the offensive end.
Katrina Boyd (Senior/San Jose, CA) netted the lone goal of the contest for the Boxers, her seventh of the season.
Amelia Haindl (Junior/Portland, OR) made eight saves between the posts.
How It Happened
The Bearcats opened up with four goals in the opening period before netting two more before the end of the first half.
Willamette made it 13 unanswered goals before Boyd converted her free position attempt with just under 12 minutes to play.
