McMINNVILLE, Ore.- Pacific University women's golf had an impressive showing at the Linfield Invitational, hosted at Michelbook Country Club. The two-day event featured four teams on the women's side and 10 teams in the men's event.
The Boxer women shot a team score of 740 (+164) to finish in 2
nd place. George Fox finished with a team score of 583 (+7) to win the tournament.
The men's team posted a score of 632 (+56) to land themselves in eighth place out of 10 teams. Willamette came out victorious on the men's side, shooting 581 (+5) as a team.
Top Performers
- Nikki Tabios competed as an individual and fired 85, 83 (+24) to earn a tie for sixth place.
- Madison Cabardo shot an 87 on day one and rebounded with a nine-over 83 on the second day of the tournament to finish eighth.
- Avery Arnold notched a top-10 with her 180 (+36).
- Johnathan Riley carded the lowest round of the weekend for the men's team, shooting a two-over 74 on the first day of the event.
