FOREST GROVE, Ore.- The Pacific University lacrosse team fell on Saturday afternoon to Willamette by a score of 19-10.
The Bearcats were able to establish an advantage in possessions recording 19 draw controls to the 13 that the Boxers had. The visitors also outshot the Boxers 34-16.

How It Happened
It was a close contest to start the game for both sides. The Bearcats were able to open the scoresheet with a shot that found the back of the net at the 10:24 mark. Pacific responded 14 seconds later when
Devyn Davis earned the draw control and converted a shot to even the score at 1.
Devyn Davis would convert a Free Position shot with 8:07 on the clock to even the score at two apiece. The Red and Black would close out the quarter scoring four unanswered goals to take a 6-3 lead.
The visitors were able to shrink their deficit with a goal to 6-4 before the Boxers responded with a goal from the stick of
Taylor Alcaire. The Bearcats closed out the half with four unanswered goals to take an 8-7 lead to the locker room.
Willamette was able to extend their lead to 9-7 with 13:29 remaining in the third quarter.
Sarah Pokorny was able to pull the Boxers within one on a goal with 12:12 remaining. By the end of the third quarter, the Boxers trailed 13-10.
The final quarter belonged to the Bearcats as they scored six goals on the way to the 19-10 win.
