NEWBERG, Ore.- The Pacific University lacrosse team dropped a 19-2 contest on Sunday to the Bruins of George Fox.
The Bruins were able to find their advantage on the defensive end only allowing four shots on goal from the Boxer offense.

- Devyn Davis found success on the offensive end leading the Boxers with four shots including one that found the back of the goal.
- Mia White made her presence felt all over the field scoring a goal, picking up six ground balls while also causing two turnovers
How It Happened
The Boxers showed grit on defense to open the game. Despite facing a multitude of shots over the first six minutes the Boxers defense did not allow a goal. The Bruins were able to open the scoresheet with a goal scoring possession with 8:54 remaining in the opening quarter. The Bruins would score four more unanswered goals as they took a 5-0 lead into the quarter break.
The Bruins were aggressive on the offensive end in the second quarter scoring five more goals to take a 10-0 lead. With 1:40 remaining before halftime the Boxers,
Devyn Davis was able to fire a shot past the Bruins goalie for her 10
th goal of the season. Less than a minute later, it was
Mia White's turn as she found the back of the net with 48 seconds on the clock. The Bruins held a 10-2 lead at halftime.
The second half would belong to the Bruins as they extended their lead with five unanswered goals in the third and four more in the fourth on the way to the 19-2 NWC win.
