FOREST GROVE, Ore.- The Pacific University lacrosse team dropped a 19-4 contest on Friday to the top seeded Bruins of George Fox.
How It Happened
The visiting Bruins opened the game up with eight unanswered goals in the first quarter before Mia White netted the Boxer's first goal of the match off a free position shot. The Bruins scored one more with nine seconds left in the first quarter to make the score 9-1.
The lead would stretch to 12-1 for the hosts midway through the second quarter before Devyn Davis would find the back of the net for her eighteenth goal of the season.
With the Boxers trailing 17-3 in the fourth quarter, Sarah Porknoy scored for the Boxers followed by Cullen-Musengo's second goal of the day. The Bruins improved their NWC record to 9-0 earning the 19-4 win.
