Pacific Athletics welcomes a number of new additions to the Athletic Department roster in advance of
the 2023-24 school year. One staff member and five assistant coaches join Boxer Athletics as announced
by Director of Athletics Keith Buckley
Â
"We had three assistant coaches depart Pacific this spring to become head coaches at other four-year
institutions which is a testament to the work our head coaches put in developing and mentoring their
staffs to advance in the profession," Buckley said. "I am excited for this group of new coaches and staff
to make their mark in our department and on the student-athletes we serve."

Â
No stranger to Boxer fans,
Ryan Krout has been elevated to the full-time baseball assistant position by
Head Coach
Brian Billings, replacing Kyle Treadway who departed to become the Head Baseball Coach at
Eastern Oregon University. Krout was a first-team All-NWC first baseman for the Boxers and graduated
as the all-time leader in doubles and is second all-time in RBI. He was a significant contributor on back-
to-back conference championship teams as a player and joined the coaching staff immediately after
graduation. Krout graduated from Pacific with a degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Biology, and
was a Dean's List honoree all four years.
Â
"Ryan has done a really nice job for us as both a student-athlete and young coach and we're excited to
promote him to the full-time position," said Coach Billings. "Keeping Coach Krout here at Pacific for the
foreseeable is a win for Boxer Baseball."

"We are excited to add Kylie and her husband Micah to the boxer family," Coach Parker said. "Kylie is

been part of some really successful programs and we are excited for her to add to the momentum of our
program."
