Bead Boonta led the Pacific women's golf team to a fourth-place finish in the 2024 Northwest Conference Fall Classic.
Playing Sunday and Monday at the OGA Golf Course, the Pacific sophomore shot a 73 on both days to finish third overall and just five strokes behind low medalist Alison Takamiya from George Fox.
Pacific junior
Nikki Tabios carded a 159 over the two days to finished tied for 11th. Freshman
Cassidy Tanoue (166) and sophomore
Makena Tsuye (171) also scored for the Boxers for a team total of 642.
George Fox carded a 581 to win the team title by 41 strokes. Whitman (622) finished runner-up.
The Pacific men placed ninth at the NWC Fall Classic.
Willamette (562) edged Whitman (567) for the men's championship.
Sophomore
Ryan Murray (153) led the Boxers. Junior
Kamas Romney (155), sophomore
Benjamin Korach (164) and freshman
Charlie Nicol (164) also scored for Pacific for a team total of 629.
Willamette's Oliver Smith shot a 135, finishing 9-under par to earn low medalist honors.
Next: The Boxers will play in the Confluence Classic on Oct. 20-21 at Veterans Memorial Golf Course in Walla Walla, Washington.
