SALEM -- It was a great day to run fast for the Pacific cross country team.
The Boxers broke 19 personal records Saturday at the George Oja Invitational.
Running at the Oak Knoll Golf Course, fifth-year senior
Ria Gill led the Pacific women in the 6K, finishing 44th overall in 22 minutes, 6.5 seconds.
Senior
Megan Feitz (51st, 22:17.60), fifth-year
Dina Altuhovs (64th, 22:33.40), freshman
Ali Heinly (69th, 22:36.70) and junior
Morgan Boddy (84th, 22:53.80) all finished in the top 100.
The Boxers women placed sixth out of 31 teams. Division I programs Boise State, Portland and Eastern Washington took the top three spots.
The Pacific men finished 20th out of 32 teams.
Sophomore
Peyton Fisher (55th, 25:03.60) and senior
Henry Tierney (76th, 25:18.30) paced the Boxers in the 8K.
Next: Pacific will compete in the Northwest Conference Championships on Saturday, Nov. 1 in Tacoma, Wash.
