CLAREMONT, Calif. – Pacific graduate student
Ria Gill led the Boxers at the NCAA Division III West Regional Championships Saturday morning, finishing 24th overall in the 6K in 22 minutes, 52.2 seconds to earn All-Region honors.
The Boxer women placed eighth out 21 teams. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps won the team title, followed by runner-up Colorado College and third-place Pomona-Pitzer.
Pacific seniors
Megan Feitz (23:22.8) and
Morgan Boddy (23:59.9) finished 42nd and 61st, respectively. Graduate student
Dina Altuhovs took 65th in 24:04.8 and freshman
Ali Heinly was 68th in 24:08.8.
Sophomore
Peyton Fisher paced the Pacific men, finishing 87th in the 8K in 27 minutes and 21 seconds. Sophomores
Tathan Woodward (27:43.7) and
Jacob Tilden (27:46.5) placed 106th and 108th, respectively.
