MCMINNVILLE, Ore. – The Pacific cross country teams kicked off the 2026 season Friday morning at Joe Dancer Park.
The men started the day racing the 6K. Junior
Peyton Fisher was the first Boxer to cross the finish line in a personal best time of 19:10.8. He finished in 28th place. Sophomore
Elias Bradbury was the second Boxer in, finishing in 41st place with a time of 19:58.3. Junior
Jacob Tilden rounded out the top three finishing in 58th place in a time of 20:17.7.
The men finished 5th as a team in a field of 13, just ahead of the George Fox men's team.
Following the men's race, the women took off on their 4K race. Graduate student
Ria Gill was the first finisher for Pacific, finishing in 24th place with a time of 14:45.5. She was followed by two freshmen,
Emily Davidson and
Isabel Camp, who finished in 75th and 99th respectively. They ran times of 16:03.4 and 16:39.
Pacific women finished 9th as a team out of 13 teams, narrowly behind the women of Lane Community College
