MCMINNVILLE – The Pacific women's wrestling team defeated Linfield 36-6 Friday night in its first dual of the season.

Pacific freshman Deijah Diego (131), junior Audrey Diaz (138), junior Isabella Renner (160) and senior Paige Beals (180) all won by technical fall to run up the score. Freshmen Taylen Babas-Masuno (110), Amelia Sullens (117), Fera Thomas (124) and Hailey Miller (145) all won by forfeit. 

The Wildcats got a technical fall at 103 pounds. 

Next: The Boxers will wrestle in the Spokane Open on Sunday, Nov. 23.
