Pacific women place fourth at home invitational

NORTH PLAINS -- The Pacific women's golf team finished fourth at the 2025 Pacific Invitational.

Playing Saturday and Sunday at Pumpkin Ridge, the Boxers shot 677 over the two days. 

Pacific sophomore Bead Boonta carded a 157 to place tied for third overall out of 52 golfers. Boonta finished just two strokes behind low medalists Kaylee Jones of College of Idaho and Rockey Mountain's Tyla Potgieter.

Pacific sophomore Kayla Speer shot 168 to place 12th overall. Sophomore Makena Tsuye (170) and freshman Cassidy Tanoue (182) also scored for the Boxers. 

Rocky Mountain, an NAIA program from Billings, Montana, won the team championship by 14 strokes. College of Idaho (659) and Whitman (668) finished second and third. 

Next: Pacific will compete in the Willamette Valley Cup on March 15-16 at Creekside Golf Club in Salem.
