MCMINNVILLE, Ore. -- Audrey Diaz didn't just win the 138-pound Mat Cat Open bracket on Sunday. The Pacific junior dominated it.

Diaz went 3-0 with a pin and two tech falls to bring home the championship. She defeated Linfield's Cassidy Jones-Mowen 10-0 in the finals.

Four more Pacific wrestlers placed in the tournament, hosted by Linfield.

Freshman Deijah Diego and sophomore Skyelynn Ripley finished fifth at 131 and 145 pounds, respectively. Freshmen Tessa Taflinger and Fera Thomas placed sixth at 103 and 117. 

Next: The Boxers will wrestle in the NWCA National Duals on Saturday, Jan. 10 in Waterloo, Iowa.
