The Pacific women's lacrosse team continued its strong start to the 2026 season Thursday night.
Behind three goals each from Jasmyn Zimmerman and Ellena Willingham, the Boxers rolled to a 12-4 win over Puget Sound.
Pacific never trailed, as Willingham put the Boxers on top 1-0 on an assist from Cameron Cabuco less than a minute into the game. After the teams were tied 1-1 at the end of the first period, Pacific scored four straight goals in the second quarter to take a 5-2 lead into halftime.
Puget Sound pulled within 5-4 with 7:15 remaining in the third quarter, but the Boxers responded with a 7-0 run to close out the game.
India Cartwright finished with two goals, one assist, six ground balls, and three draw controls. Erin Casey also scored twice and added four ground balls. Cabuco and Sarah Quade each added a goal, while goalkeeper Jocelyn Taylor recorded six saves.
With the win, Pacific improved to 4-2, matching its win total from last season with 10 games still remaining.Â
