McMINNVILLE, Ore. - This Saturday, the Pacific track and field teams saw five more athletes qualify for the Northwest Conference Championships in their respective events. Additionally, three Boxers won an event.
Will Neal won the men's 3,000m steeplechase with a PR of 9:48.91. This is his second week in a row winning the men's steeplechase race and setting a new PR. Following that performance,
Annie Berry won the women's 1500m race with her PR of 4:52.08. Shortly after that,
Elizabeth Bradley won the women's 800m race in 2:20.91, another PR for her. This was her second week in a row winning the women's 800m and setting a new PR.
"Several of our athletes competed well today," said head track and field coach
Ryan Hunter-Simms. "To keep having conference qualifiers each week is great, especially as we get into the thick of the season."
