McMinnville, Ore. – The Boxer men and women's track teams competed in their first outdoor meet of the 2023 season this past weekend. The meet started off with the 10k races on Friday night, and followed by a full meet on Saturday. Several athletes moved up or onto the Outdoor Top Ten list. The Northwest Conference has a qualifying standard for each event, and an athlete must achieve that standard mark in their event during the regular season in order to qualify for conference. Saturday's meet was held in unfavorable conditions, with cold temperatures, high winds and heavy rain throughout the competition. Despite the weather, 18 Boxers qualified for conference in their respective events.
