McMinnville Ore.–The Pacific Track and Field team traveled to Linfield University. During Saturday's competition, there were six Northwest Conference Qualifiers and five new All-Time Top Ten Performances.
Top Performers
Senior Ally Hammond breaks another school record in the Women's 400m, making it her tenth school record of the 2025-2026 season. Hammond ran a time of 56.37. Hammond's time qualified for the Northwest Conference Championships in the Women's 400m and is the twelfth fastest in the nation for this event.
Graduate student Ria Gill also moves to #6 on the All-Time Top Ten list in the Women's 10k with a time of 38:03.83. Following the 10k was the Women's 4x100m Relay. The Boxers team of Josie Lavato, Maya Kaneshiro, Ally Hammond, and Nichole Goodwin ran a time of 49.14. Their time places them #2 on the All-Time Top Ten list in the Women's 4x100 Relay.
In the field events, there were two All-Time Top Ten performances. The first was sophomore Noah Tyrin in the Men's Discus, where he threw a new personal best of 43.29m, which places him #10 All-Time. Later, freshman Nichole Goodwin competed in the Women's Triple Jump. Goodwin's jump of 10.19m qualifies her for the Northwest Conference Championships and ties her #10 on the All-Time Top Ten list and
"The team is in a very good place right now," said Beach Coach Ryan Huntersimms. "This week, for many of our athletes, was about trying new approaches and refining different technical aspects within their events, and I'm excited about where we stand as we approach conference in the coming weeks."

On Friday, April 10th, and Saturday, April 11th, the Boxers will travel to Monmouth, Ore. to compete at the John Knight Twilight Invite hosted by Western Oregon University. Over the two days of competition, there will be a full spread of track and field events.
