McMinnville, Ore. – The Boxer men and women's track teams competed at Linfield College's annual Jenn Boyman Memorial Invite on Saturday. Andrew Reid moved up to #4 on the All-Time list for the men's hammer throw. The Boxers also achieved three more conference qualifying marks.
Top Performers
Andrew Reid had a good day in the men's hammer throw. Reid took second place overall and threw a PR of 48.65m (159-07). That puts him at #4 on Pacific's All-Time list in the hammer.
The Boxers had eight top-three finishes at both meets.
Emily Rutkowski won the women's 400m hurdles (1:06.41), an event she's been excelling at this spring.
The Boxers took six second place finishes at the home meet: Lucas Dahl in the men's 100m, Ally Hammond in the women's 100m hurdles (15.78), Annie Berry in the women's 800m (2:27.70), Andrew Reid in the men's hammer (48.65m / 159-07) and shot put (14.54m / 47-08.50), and the men's 4x100m relay composed of Romel Moreland, Tyler Vargas, Zion Booker and Lucas Dahl (42.34).
Natalie Taylor took third place in the women's 800m (2:27.92).
