Portland, Ore. – The Boxer men and women's track teams competed at the L&C Larry Byerly Invitational, with some field events at George Fox on Friday and the remainder of the meet events at Lewis & Clark on Saturday. Ally Hammond made her collegiate debut in the women's long jump and found great success, winning the event. Hammond produced a jump of 5.41m (17-09.00), which puts her at the #2 spot on Pacific's Top Ten List. Jarod Moren had a good day in pole vault, placing 4th and jumping a PR of 4.30m (14-01.25), to put him at #6 on Pacific's Top Ten list. Also moving up on Pacific's Top Ten List was Makayla Kraemer, who took 15th place in women's pole vault with a jump of 2.70m (8-10.25), good for #10 on the Top Ten List; and Courtney Tiernan in the women's triple jump. Tiernan took 6th place with her jump of 10.18m (33-04.75), good for #9 on the Top Ten List. The Boxers also achieved eight more conference qualifying marks.
