Top Performers

Dominic Funk did it again! The senior had a great day of throwing in the javelin at his final home track meet. He won the event with his throw of 63.57m, or 208'06", a mark that sits him at #2 in NCAA DIII right now. Funk has strung together a good series of meets and now has his eyes set on the NCAA National Championships.

The Boxers had eleven top-three finishes at both meets.

Two Boxers won their events: Angelica Gatica Gomez won the women's 400m (59.04) and Dominic Funk won the men's javelin (63.57, 208-06).

Seven Boxers took second place finishes at the home meet: Lucas Dahl in the men's 200m (21.99) and the men's long jump (6.65, 21-10.00), Emily Rutkowski in the women's 400m hurdles (1:06.27); Henry Tierney in the men's 800m (1:55.48); Itzel Vazquez in the women's long jump (4.83, 15-10.25); and two men's relays - the 4x100m relay (42.27) and the men's 4x400m relay (3:25.43).

There were two third place finishes, both by Ally Hammond - she took third in the women's 100m (12.75) and in the 110m hurdles (15.46).
