Salem, Ore. – The Boxer men and women's track teams competed in the Willamette Invite on Saturday, March 23, where Ally Hammond set her seventh school record of the year in the women's 100m dash. Hammond ran a time of 12.45 to win the race and best the previous school record of 12.59, set by Kelli Aken-Pagdilao in 2013.
Top Performers
In addition to victory in the 100m, Hammond also won the women's 100m hurdles with a time of 15.08. Overall, the Boxers won eight individual events across the men and women's teams. Lucas Dahl won the men's 200m with a time of 22.36, Emily Rutkowski won the women's 400m hurdles in 1:07.26, Annie Berry won the women's 1500m in 4:37.28, Cris Brethower won the women's 3,000m steeplechase in 11:38.37 - that moves her to #3 on the outdoor All-Time list - Jayden Fordham won the men's high jump with 1.85m, and Jonette Singh won the women's triple jump with 10.88m, which moves her to #5 on the outdoor All-Time list.
