Forest Grove, Ore. – And that's nine school records for Ally Hammond so far this season! This weekend the Boxers hosted their home meet, the Pacific Open, and Hammond broke her own school records in the women's long jump, improving from 5.57 last year to 5.59m, and the women's 200m, improving from 25.83 to 25.07.
Top Performers
Ally Hammon's school record long jump of 5.59m earned her first place in that event. Courtney Tiernan won the women's 400m hurdles with her time of 1:14.34, and Annie Berry won the women's 800m race with 2:14.95. The men's 4x400m relay team of Kameron Shields, Lucas Dahl, Alex Heinze and Zion Booker won an exciting race with a time of 3:26.81. Taking runner-up in events for the Boxers was Dahl in the men's 200m (21.85) and Hammond in the women's 200m (25.07). The Boxers found third place finishes from Dahl in the men's 100m (11.10), Morgan Boddy in the women's 3,000m steeplechase (12:41.51), Jonette Singh in the women's triple jump (10.57m), and the men's 4x100m relay team of Romel Moreland, Josiah Chaffin, Zion Booker and Lucas Dahl (42.70).
