Forest Grove, Ore. – Pacific sophomore Henry Tierney has qualified for the 2024 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Held at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Tierney will compete in the men's 800-meter run preliminary round on Friday, May 24 at 6:15 p.m. Eastern Time. There will be three preliminary heats of the men's 800. The top two from each heat and then the next two best times will qualify for the 800 final on Saturday, May 25, which will be contested at 6:00 p.m.
The top eight finishers in each event will earn All-American Honors. Tierney enters the meet seeded 11th in 1 minute, 49.93 seconds.
