ESTACADA -- The Pacific cross country teams kicked off the 2025 season Friday morning at Milo McIver State Park.
In a field that included Division I programs Oregon State, Boise State, Portland State and the University of Portland, the Pacific women and men both finished eighth out of 12 teams.
Oregon State won the women's 5K while Boise State finished on top of the men's 5K standings.
Senior
Megan Feitz was the first Pacific woman to cross the finish line, placing 22nd overall in 19 minutes, 25.33 seconds.
Freshman
Ali Heinly finished 28th in 19:30.40. Sophomore
Ria Gill, a transfer from the University of British Columbia, took 47th in 20:22.38.
Sophomore
Peyton Fisher led the Boxer men, placing 31st overall in 16:17.06. Senior
Henry Tierney finished 39th in 16:29.79 and sophomore
Jacob Tilden took 52nd in 16:41.79.
Next: Pacific is scheduled to race in the Northwest Conference Preview meet on Saturday, Sept. 20 in Tacoma, Wash.Â
